The EV6 can be developed with rear- or all-wheel drive and a single electric motor on the rear axle or an electric motor on both axles. All-wheel-drive cars have a larger battery pack and either 320 or 576 total HP, while rear-drive models have a smaller battery and only 167 hp. Choosing the bigger battery increases the total performance of the rear-drive EV6 system to 225 horsepower.

After the on-road testing of the GT line AWD model, The results were satisfactory. Smooth acceleration, perfect and agile handling, regenerative braking, and much more. The 320 horsepower GT line model managed a 0-60 MPH time of 4.5 seconds, while those looking for straight-line performance will prefer the 576 horsepower GT, which has an estimated 060 MPH time  under 3.5 seconds!

The EV6 offers mainly two battery sizes- A 58 KWH and a 77.4KWH pack.

The 77.4KWH obviously provides a longer driving range. The smaller standard battery pack provides an estimated range of 232 miles per charge, while the larger battery pack provides up to 310 miles on a single charge.

Kia says its battery can be charged from 10-80% in less than 18 minutes when plugged into a 350 KWH fast charger. The 11 kWh onboard charger will recharge the battery from 10-100% in 7 hours when plugged into a level 2 power outlet.

The interior layout and design of the EV6 aren’t as bold as its exterior, but the layout and features are more eye-catching and futuristic than any other current Kia car.
