In an invitation to furnish battery swapping sites for Greaves electric vehicles in India, domestic creative mobility solution Bounce Infinity on Tuesday declared that it intends to set up 300 charging stations each in 10 towns across the nation.

Actions by the administration stemmed from a 2.5 times boost in charging stations in Surat, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai in the recent four months, a power ministry statement stated.
As per the statement, extra 678 common EV charging stations were established between October 2021 and January 2022 in these nine cities. Nearly 940 of India’s 1,640 public EV chargers are discovered in these cities.
The administration has boosted its emphasis originally on the nine megacities with a population of over 4 million.
The Ministry of Power previously published the modified consolidated Guidelines and Standards for EV charging infrastructure on January 14, 2022.

The Bounce Infinity swapping sites function on identical principles to a fuel site. The stations will have charged and ready-to-go batteries for Greaves Retail customers; that they can easily swap with their near-empty batteries in a few seconds.
With this infrastructure in position, EV consumers would not have to wait for their 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers to charge, be worried about the spectrum, or recall to charge it.
