Bounce Infinity to launch battery swapping stations for Ampere electric scooters
“Bounce and Greaves Retail continue to be devoted to giving rise to accessible and sustainable outcomes to the market. We are glad to have ampere as our counterparts who will be using our battery swapping strategy. This encourages more Indians to have an entrance to affordable mobility with Baas,” Vivekananda Hallekere, Co-Founder and CEO, Bounce, said in a statement.
The smart solution, which will primarily be ready at sites as distinct as residential networks, petrol bunks, restaurants, cafes, co-living spaces, corporate headquarters, Kirana stores, etc, will power electric automobiles manufactured by Greaves.
The Bounce Infinity swapping sites function on identical principles to a fuel site. The stations will have charged and ready-to-go batteries for Greaves Retail customers; that they can easily swap with their near-empty batteries in a few seconds.
With this infrastructure in position, EV consumers would not have to wait for their 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers to charge, be worried about the spectrum, or recall to charge it.
