Hero Electric, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in the country, earlier unveiled three of its products in India, one of which is Hero Electric AXLHE-20. It planned to launch this in a phased manner and keep a focus on range and performance. The managing director spoke of model one as a high-speed e-bike that ensures a perfect blend of performance and efficiency.

The bike was then supposed to reach a top speed of 85 km per hour and have a range of up to 110 km on a single charge. Its lithium-ion battery was to get fully charged from an empty battery in about four hours. It further was to feature regenerative braking while improving its performance.

EVs were less considered for their lack of performance. So this Hero Electric AXLHE-20 comes as a segment of ‘High Speed series.’ It comes as the top-of-the-line offering in the product portfolio of the brand. This bike has been expected to come with features like mobile connectivity through Bluetooth. The instrument console was to support smartphone integration through a dedicated mobile app.
