The Kia EV6 is an all electric compact crossover SUV which is built on Hyundai Motor Company E-GMP platform. It is similar to Hyundai Ioniq5 in many aspects. It is a five door SUV. The main features include rapid charging, quicker acceleration with time and vehicle-to-load function. The Kia EV6 is the company’s first dedicated EV 2022 and Kia claims that it is planning to build eleven new electric vehicles by 2026. The Kia EV6 is coming up with sleek exterior and unique interior design. More features will be discovered when the model will arrive in the market by next year.
Interior of Kia EV6-
Kia EV6 has an attractive and futuristic interior with many features. The dashboard of EV6 gets a minimalistic architecture that offers a sense of space. The centre storage provides space for small bags. The front and rear section offer bottle holders for all the passengers. The Kia EV6 features a frunk providing an extra fifty two litres storage space for RWD models and twenty litres for AWD models. The centre console do not slide back and forth and no front seats footrests are available. The gold accents are placed throughout the cockpits. EV6 has a flat floor and a long wheelbase. Twenty eight cubic feet cargo space available and fifty four cubic feet with rear seats folded back. Other features available are two spoke steering wheel, prominent start button on the centre console , ventilated and heated seats. Seat fabrics from vegan leather and floor carpet is made using recycled plastics. It contains an ultra wide sunroof.

The exterior designing of the car gives it out a sporty look. The flush door handles a Digital Tiger front grille, 20 inch alloy wheels create an unique exterior together. Low mounted headlights, muscular fenders, floating roofline, tailights bring out a sleek design and a atheletic look to Kia EV6. An active front air flap controls the air flow efficiently. Back with a wing like roof spoiler offer an aerodynamic function. The rear bumper in th lower part has a black high glossy finish.

Battery, Charging And Range of Kia EV6-
The Kia EV6 is coming up with two battery pack options – 58.0 kWh and 77.4 kWh. The later one will provide a longer driving range. Three hundred miles of range will be provided by EV6 on a single charge. With an operating voltage of eight hundred volts, the battery can be charged from ten to eighty percent in eighteen minutes when plugged into a 350 kW rapid charger. When plugged into a Level 2 outlet onboard charger 11 kW will charge the battery from ten to hundred per cent in seven hours.
Performance of Kia EV6-
Coming up with a single electric motor placed on rear axle or electric motor on both the axles that is the rear wheel and all wheel drive. All wheel drive has a powertrain of 313 horse power or 576 total horse power, the rear wheel drive has a smaller powertrain of 167 horse power. Biggest battery pack will boost rear drive to 218 horse power. With 313 horse power it will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and with 576 horse power GT will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
Safety And Driver Assistance Features in Kia EV6-
Kia EV6 has a wide array of standard driver assistance technology. Optional assists can be added on choice. Safety features include blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and remote parking assist.

Kia EV6 will be available at a starting price of $ 45,000 and top out near $ 55,000. The deliveries of new EV6 in international markets will commence from October 2021 and in India it will probably commence from 2022.
