All-new luxurious four-wheeler may be driven by an electric motor of 54Bhp. The Mahindra eKUV100, or we can call it Mahindra eKUV is an entry-level SUV that will be launched in India this financial year. It was expected to go on sale in the second quarter of 2020, but the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic clobbered the economy and impacted its launch date.
Most of the parts of the Mahindra eKUV100 are similar to the petrol edition. Only a minor change like closed-off upper grille and blue trails have given a completely new look to the electric version. The key identifiers of this SUV are the dark blue accent on the nose cone, headlamps, tail lamps, and the wheel caps that force viewers to turn heads while on the go. The interior design is almost similar but the electric version has seat covers with blue highlights.
Charging ports are embedded on both the front fenders. No information on the color combination has been revealed by the company yet, but we are expecting to see royal white and blue colors. The company showed off its white-colored sample at Auto Expo 2020 and has shown a dark blue one in a promo video.

The eKUV100 charging port is available at the passenger front bumper. The battery charges from 20-80% in an hour with fast charging.
Powered by a 15.9kW electric motor that generates a maximum power of 54.4 bhp and torque of 120 Nm. According to the company, it takes 6 hours with a regular charger to charge the battery 100%.
