He said, “With the Enyaq iV, we are again building on the emotive Skoda design language that characterises the Scala, the Kamiq and the new, fourth-generation Octavia. The Enyaq iV also features sculptural lines, clear surfaces and crystalline elements that draw inspiration from Bohemian crystal art. Its proportions, however, differ from those of our previous SUV models: the Enyaq iV has a shorter front end and an elongated roofline. This creates a very dynamic look and transforms it into a proverbial ‘space shuttle.
The design of the Enyaq iV is progressive, balanced and confident. The new proportions give it a special dynamic and a spacious interior, as well. Its large wheels and ground clearance give it the powerful presence of an SUV. Definitely the front. We consciously emphasise the distinctive Skoda grille on our electric vehicles, as this is an instantly recognisable feature of the brand. On the Enyaq iV, it is set further forward and is more upright, which enhances the powerful look. The full-LED matrix headlights and daytime running lights are particularly eye-catching, too.”
Engine And Battery Of Skoda Enyaq iV
The EV range is up to 535 km according to WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure) with nearly all versions having a 160 km / hr top speed, the Enyaq RS iV capable of reaching 180 km / hr and able to tow a trailer of up to 1400 kilograms. The Enyaq iV offers two powerful electric motors, one with 132 kW and the other with 150 kW which can deliver about 310 Nm of torque and reach 100 km / hr in 8.6 to 8.7 seconds. It can charge from a household socket and up to 125 kW on DC fast charging, getting to 80% in 38 minutes.
When it comes to charging the Enyaq, if you get one with the biggest battery, then you can charge it at 125 kW. If you rely on the 7 kW on-board charger, then it will take around 12 hours to fully charge, and if all you have is a household outlet, then it will take more than an entire day. Buyers wanting more performance can opt for the Enyaq iV 80x, which features two electric motors for all-wheel drive, offering a total of 195 kW, 425 Nm of torque and a 500 km range between charges. The batteries have an eight-year, 100,000-mile guarantee for 70% capacity.

Talking about additional features, the Enyaq iV includes 19-inch Proteus alloy wheels, an infotainment system with satellite navigation and 13-inch screen, rear parking sensors, dual-zone climate control and keyless go.
The automobile is also loaded with Skoda’s famous offerings such as an ice-scraper with tyre tread gauge in the boot door, bag hooks in the boot, double-sided boot liner, smartphone storage pockets on the backs of the front seats and, of course, concealed umbrellas in the both the front doors. The Enyaq iV costs from ₹ 33 lakhs and can vary with addition of features. The service interval is 24 months. We get three years warranty, with the first two for unlimited mileage but the third up to 60,000 miles. We can extend the Skoda warranty with considerable extra fee. The company has started the release only in certain countries and are planning to expand the chances of production.
