Design of Tata Curvv EV
The Tata Curvv Concept EV comes with a powerful SUV DNA at its core. The company claims that the EV has been developed based on the Tata Sierra concept SUV which was showcased back in 2020 at the Auto Expo. To give the Concept Tata Curvv EV a final shape, the EV has been further developed. Upon launch, the Tata Concept Curvv EV is to hit the Brand’s SUV line-up on top of Nixon in India. The CURVV had made its way to the perfect balance between practicality, elegance, and performance by merging the elegant and sporty silhouette with the durable and tough structure of an SUV.
Exterior of Tata Curvv EV
The design of its exterior is mesmerizing due to its raised ride height, tough cladding, and dynamic proportions. The front and rear fenders have a large offset combined with the cladded strong section giving it an authoritative look and a balanced stance. The eye-catching look it gets is from its triangular headlights and the slim upper DRLs and it integrates a lively welcome upon approaching. The rear screen is surrounded by LED lights and along with the horizontal light, bar gives the car a unique look and consolidates a high-tech feel to the concept.
The feel of precision comes from the front lower bumper which has a groove pattern, also duplicated at the rear, and aero blade design giving it a holistic and a connective feel. The real sense of toughness and durability that an SUV need comes from the wheel arch cladding and the lower sill. The high-gloss black finish on the other hand gives the Tata Curvv a premium feel. The frame-less windows are designed in a graphical way that flows into the C-pillar and the deck lid.
The Tata Curvv EV SUV has a strong aerodynamic theme running through it. The channels underneath the floating bonnet allow it to flow through which exits through the triangular features further up the surface. The airflow across the body side and underneath the C-pillar is due to the floating C-pillar which follows the aerodynamic theme. This airflow exists through the sides of the rear screen. The wheels also share the aerodynamic theme as it has aero blades inserted into them. These aero blades close up the open area and allow better airflow across the surface. The wheels also have a diamond-turned finished surface that gives a high graphic contrast.
Interior of Tata Curvv EV
The interior is designed to feel less claustrophobic. The designers of the EV have done an impressive job by making it spacious and focused. The interior is designed in a way that compliments the exterior. The bold yet smart color of the interior, the materials used, and the finished directions give the cabin a real premium feel. The infotainment and the display screen embellish the EV and appeal to the active customer. The interior packaging has been designed smartly allowing the passengers and luggage to occupy the space comfortably.
The panoramic glass roof is what diminishes the claustrophobic effect. As the large glass roof integrates into the rear spoiler with the roofline allowing the riders to feel the natural light and a sense of freedom. For the central line to maintain the SUV coupe silhouette the rear spoiler splits and flows into the rear screen through the short decklid.
