Tesla has announced a battery-electric light-duty truck, the Tesla Cybertruck. Arguably speaking, the Tesla Cybertruck is going to be the most unique-looking vehicle to hit the road for at least a few decades. From the looks of it, the Tesla Cyber Truck seems to be an alien prototype, but it has the capabilities to challenge all of the top-selling pickup trucks. This is only going to happen once it arrives in the market as the all-electric drive has been delayed twice.
Cyber Truck is that pickup truck that gives stats on both EVs and pickups. In countries where people highly purchase pickups, Cybertruck can give the company a strong seller. However, Tesla will also be facing competition from other companies such as Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer EV, and Chevy Silverado which is going to be launched next year in 2023.
Styles and design of Tesla Cybertruck
Designed by a PSI-era game developer, wrangling against the presence of curves it’s quite visible. The Cybertruck is inspired by Blade Runner and the Lotus Esprit was driven by James Bond in the “Spy who love me.” Regardless of any opinion, the Cybertruck does possess a striking uniqueness that appeals to many people despite giving off the 90’s vibes. Also, keep in mind that the design that has been shown so far will not roll off the production line.
Removal of side mirrors is said to add as a requirement of the traffic laws around the world. The single windscreen wiper is also part of the design although it has not been finalized considering the size of the windscreen.
Just like any other passenger car, the Cybertruck uses unibody construction instead of body-on-frame construction which is typical of trucks. This is done so to avoid conflict with the under-floor battery pack. The body panels on the Cybertruck create a very distinctive faceted design as they can only be bent along the straight lines. This has been called the “low-poly” or linked to origami.
The earlier design concept includes the use of titanium for the outer panels, but it was later switched to stainless steel, using an in-house developed alloy by Tesla.

The exterior shell of the truck is made to provide ultimate durability and passenger protection. This is possible due to the stainless steel exoskeleton. The exoskeleton is nearly impenetrable. To avoid dents, corrosion, and any damage, the stainless steel is ultra-hard 30X cold rolled. This keeps the exterior smooth and provides the passenger with more protection.
For improved performance and damage tolerance, the Ultra-strong glass and polymer-layered composite can absorb and redirect impact forces. A single windscreen wiper is featured for the entire front of the truck. The wiper is to be extendable and will cover the full windscreen wipe in one motion. There are no wheel covers. The wheel does look nicer despite not being as aerodynamic.

Although nothing much has been disclosed, a few images have been leaked showcasing the interior. Cybertruck’s spartan cabin will relieve the reaction of those who thought the Tesla Model 3 interior was minimalistic. The interior features a slab-like dashboard that is solely dominated by one large touchscreen.
Not much has been confirmed about the presence of the square-faced steering wheel but it looks to have some sort of illuminated display. 6.4 feet cargo bed offering 100 cubic feet of volume, the Cybertruck will be able to seat 6 people. Any four-wheelers and motorcycles can be loaded as it has a nifty slide-out tailgate that doubles as a ramp.

Elon Musk has claimed that the Tesla Cybertruck is ‘an insane technology of bandwagon.’ A Steering-by-wire system is currently being developed due to which the yoke will not feel like an afterthought. Tesla Cybertruck also features an all-wheel drive.

Tesla is very much invested in the technology of this EV. The EV is said to be a futuristic post-apocalyptic vehicle. The build of the Tesla Cybertruck is mostly to provide protection and safety to the passenger. Furthermore, the truck can tow a large amount of weight and can load the bike at its back. The truck is meant for transport. As there aren’t many details on the comfort of this car nothing further can be said.

Nothing much has been revealed about the battery size that powers the electric pick-up. However, every model will possess a 250Kw charging cable.it will, of course, have access to Tesla’s vast network of Superchargers. The driving range varies with the number of motors the Cybertruck has.

Adjustable air suspension that can be raised or lowered on the fly and 16-inches of ground clearance is provided. This Tesla pickup truck can be proved to be a formidable off-road machine due to its 35-degree approach and 28-degree departure angle. With the help of a single and dual motor, Cyber Truck can tow up to 7500 and 1000 pounds. The third motor will be able to pull up to 1400 pounds.
Price of Tesla Cybertruck
The highest number of motors the Cybertruck will be is 3 and that one will be the most expensive going up to $69,900. The Cybertruck that has 1 motor will cost $39,900. The dual-motor will cost $49,900.
Tesla however claims that the single motors have a range of 240-plus miles, dual motors to give 300-plus miles, and the top-tier to give 500-plus miles. with all this power the Cybertruck can go from 0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds and the top speed is 110 mph. The dual motors will reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 120 mph. The tri-motor, with its insane power, will reach 60 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph.
