JATO Dynamics Limited, the global supplier of automotive business intelligence based in London, issued the data of Top 20 Best selling cars in Europe based on the last year’s sales. According to it, it is showcased that the Tesla Model 3 ranked 17th position. Surprisingly, it is the only Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) that got inclusion in the list by securing more than the sale of 72,234 units.

Data verified that 141,429 Tesla Model 3 were registered in the year 2021 with a year-over-year (YoY)  growth of 64%. Compared to the year 2019, the last year witnessed 48.8% sale growth by vending 95,247 cars. The Ev – volumes data of Ev sales blog reported that 87,642 pieces clinched the deal in the year 2022 at the heels of Renault ZOE marking the sale of 99,613.

Tesla Model 3 also earned a leading position in the sale of months September and December in which 27,358 cars were sold in December. Other cars of top brands which were highly competitive with Tesla couldn’t even enter into the index of top 50 as they couldn’t meet the minimum level of 72,234 car’s sales. They include Renault ZOE with71,614 units sold recorded with 28% of the surge, Volkswagen ID. 3 that sold out 69,206 cars with a growth of 23% and Volkswagen ID. 4 by trading 54,715.

As a brand itself, Tesla smashed the leading brands like Mazda, Jeep, Land Rover, Porsche, and Mitsubishi, but not considerably behind the MINI. Hence, it won the 21st position in terms of top-selling automobile makers. The clearance of 26,175 Tesla Model Y, 134 Tesla Model S, and 230 Tesla Model X added up to 167,969 registrations marking 70.9 % of upgrowth, that’s more advanced compared to the total clearance of 29,300 cars in 2018 in Europe.

In addition to these achievements, Tesla Model 3 was included in the top 10 catalogs in 5 countries. It ranked the first position in Switzerland and Norway, the Second rank in the UK, also stationed 10th position in Austria and Germany. In the mid-size category either, Tesla overthrew BMW Series 3 (116, 250) and Volkswagen Passat with 83,224 units.
