- Tata Nexon EV
Tata Motors has only two EV in the line-up in which the third one, Xpres T EV is only available for fleet owners. Tata Nexon EV is ranked as the best-selling SUV in India that thrashed Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai. It has gained a YoY growth of 88.7% and thus possesses a market share of 62% in 2021. Between the period April and October 1586 units were sold and led to 439% of growth in the last year, in which the surge from November to December was 29%. It has won the Winner of Subcompact SUV of the Year Award at the 2018 edition of NDTV’s Car and Bike Awards.
- MG ZS EV
The year 2021 witnessed the sale of 1789 MG ZS electric cars whereas, only 511 units were sold from April to September of 2020. It has attained a surge of 250% and a market share of about 29%. The growth was declined at a rate of 49.50%, but Hyundai Kona was the Winner of Electric Vehicle of the Year Award at the 2019 Tech and Auto Awards. Mahindra e-Verito is the fifth and final one among the top best-selling electric cars in India during the Fiscal year of 2020. This all-electric sedan has also attained the same fate as the Hyundai Kona with a down growth of 75%. Only two pieces were sold in this year whereas the last year saw the sale of 8 pieces.
