Inside the cabin, the Cadillac Celestiq takes on an artful integration of technology to new heights with a customizable experience for the passengers and the driver alike. The dashboard is essentially one of the giant digital displays. Each occupant will enjoy their own corner of space, it has been related to the concept of four basket seats. The driver and the front-seat passenger will enjoy a freeform display with active privacy, while the rear seat passengers will have personalized entertainment screens available. Comfortable seats, premium materials like genuine leather, open-pore wood, real metal accents are expected. Being a hatchback it provides a good amount of cargo space. The Cadillac Celestiq’s roof is expected to be the first to feature a four-quadrant, suspended particle device smart glass. With this glass, each passenger inside the cabin can set up their own roof transparency.

The exterior is long and wide with a flagship. A gently sloping roofline is present that falls back into the trunk in a single arc. Like Cadillac Lyriq, the Cadillac Celestiq has a reshaped front end with the same triangular side intake treatment, ultra-thin lighting elements, and the crest-shaped solid front grille section. The Cadillac Celestiq is highlighted by plus-sized wheels, polished silver outlook, and L- shaped tail lamps. C- pillar is wide enough that enhances the rear hatch section of the large flagship sedan model.

Specifications of Cadillac Celestiq

It will feature all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The foundation of Celestiq is based on BEV3 platform, using Ultium Lithium-ion battery technology and Ultium drive electric motors which will enable greater design flexibility. The cutting-edge technology will result in a stunning vehicle with a dramatic presence.

Battery, Charging & Range of Cadillac Celestiq

The Cadillac Celestiq contains an Ultium battery pack that draws 100 kWh. The Cadillac estimated that the driving range will be at least three hundred miles per charge. If the options of larger battery packs are offered the car’s minimum range would be even better.

The Cadillac Celestiq will contain two electric motors, one per axle. It will resemble the Tesla Model S and the Porsche Taycan in the accelerative performance. The driving features and experience will only be updated after a test drive with Cadillac Celestiq.

Like a warranty for other manufacturers from Cadillac, the Celestiq will come up with a powertrain warranty that is being better than that of other luxurious sedans. The limited warranty covers four years or fifty thousand miles. Powertrain warranty covers six years or seventy thousand miles. Complimentary maintenance is covered for the first visit but computers like BMW 7 series offer longer periods for free maintenance. We expect Celestiq to match the warrt of Chevy Bolt that is eight years or 100,000 miles.

The driver assistance features have not been specified yet by Cadillac but Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving technology will be available on the Cadillac Celestiq. Other more basic driver assistance are likely to be standard. Safety features include standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, standard lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and standard adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode.

Infotainment in Cadillac Celestiq

The Cadillac Celestiq will contain a touch screen display that moves the entire length of the car’s dashboard. The rear seat passengers will enjoy their personal large displays for watching movies, browsing, or controlling the car’s stereo system. It is expected the Cadillac will bond up with premium audio supplier AKG for the stereo system that could incorporate speakers inside each of the headrests.

Launch & Price of Cadillac Celestiq

The pricing of Cadillac Celestiq is expected to be around $200,000. The Cadillac Celestiq was originally expected to launch in the year 2025 but now the launch has moved up to the year 2023.
