Mercedes Benz will launch its all-electric sedan by October of 2022. It is labeled as the first fully electric vehicle from the company’s EQ sub-brand that is rendered to the U.S market. On the other hand, if a DC fast charger is used, the charge will surge from 0% to 80% by fast-charging up to 20kW and takes 35 minutes.
In the US, 30 minutes of free charging per session for two years is offered to EQS on Electrify America’s Charging Network with Plug -and- Charge backup. The ‘Eco Charging’ mode is an additional quality that helps to slow down the rate of charge if there’s a concern about the corrosion of the battery and slumping at charging rates.

The Mercedes Benz EQS 450+ variant holds an electric motor on its rear axle having an output of 329 horsepower and 406 Nm torque. Hence, a speedy performance is achievable for it.
On the other hand, EQS 580+ has two motors located on the front and rear axles that give a total system output of 516 horsepower and 611 Nm torque.
